What is the Employee Assistance Program / Mental Health Coaching?
Mental health coaching aims to help employees and managers improve their mental health by developing strategies to manage stress and achieve personal goals.
Employees of the Fürstenberg Institut’s corporate clients can receive individual mental health coaching in 1 to 1 sessions. Whether in person or at one of the Institut’s locations, online or by telephone.
In a confidential setting, qualified systemically trained coaches help your employees and managers to find clarity about their concerns and their own solutions to their challenges. By asking specific questions and providing input, the coaches support your employees in identifying strengths, resources and potential. The aim of coaching is to empower your employees and managers so that they can regain their capacity for action and take preventive care of their mental health.
Our mental health coaching provides empowerment and relief for individual professional, private or health issues. However, our Employee Assistance Program has its limits and is not a substitute for therapy. If a current problem has underlying causes or there may be an illness requiring treatment, such as depression, our coaches will help to find suitable psychotherapists.
Our Employee Assistance Program can only be successful if it is widely accepted within the company and employees see us as a reliable and trustworthy point of contact. It is therefore important to us to provide our clients with continuous support with internal communication during the introduction of the Employee Assistance Program and beyond. Each corporate client has a designated contact person at the Fürstenberg Institut for this purpose and we provide a detailed roll-out with various supporting materials, sample texts, photos, explanatory films, etc.
To measure success, there are regular reporting dates at which we compare service usage levels, coaching issues and other parameters over a comparative period and with the industry benchmark.

1. Decision to seek coaching
There are many different reasons for opting for employee assistance – whether it’s a current challenge, a need for personal development, a crisis or simply to get your thoughts in order – we are there for all concerns.

2. Simple appointment booking
Booking an appointment is very easy with us: in our myFürstenberg mental health platform, your employees can access our booking system with just a few clicks and book the right coach for their needs. Appointments can also be made by e-mail and telephone.

3. Anonymous coaching – in person, online, by phone
Our qualified and certified mental health coaches provide coaching in person at our Institut’s locations as well as online and over the phone, as required. All data is of course anonymised and strictly protected in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Yes, we assign each client company its own account manager who supports the company in the long term.
